The Montreal LGBTQ+ Community Centre in collaboration with the Just Solutions Legal Clinic invites you to the following workshop:


If you want to understand the implications of a negative decision on your asylum application, this session will cover your immigration status as a rejected or refused asylum seeker, your access to services and rights, and the legal options available to help you regularize your status.

Topics covered:

- Overview of the asylum application process and key immigration institutions

- Options for appealing a negative decision

- Other legal remedies, including:

- Pre-removal risk assessment (PRRA)

- Stay of removal

- Applications for permanent residence on humanitarian grounds
